COVID-19 Policy & Procedures

(Updated 7 August 2020)

The clinic is open in a reduced capacity for urgent and essential appointments only according to State Government restrictions as of 4th August 2020.  Current patients can travel outside of the 5km radius for medical appointments but new patients should seek help within 5km of their home if possible.  Patients who are travelling to and from their medical appointments for urgent care should carry with them proof of their appointment.  This can include the appointment confirmation/reminder emails or SMS messages on your phone.

As our number one priority is the health and wellbeing of our patients, practitioners and staff, we will continue to make the following changes:

  • Online bookings will be unavailable until further notice.

  • All patients are required to wear a mask at all times.

  • Practitioners are required to wear goggles or face shield.

  • Opening with reduced hours and our reception is currently unmanned.

  • Only one practitioner treating in the clinic at a time.

  • Telehealth option available for patients who are unable to come to the clinic.

  • Hand sanitiser will be available in the waiting room at the clinic and in the treatment rooms, we encourage all patients to use it upon entering and leaving the clinic.

  • All patients and staff will have their temperatures checked upon arrival to make sure no one has a temperature.

  • In addition to our normal cleaning routine, we have introduced further measures to ensure that the clinic is clean and hygienic at all times.

  • There will be a 15 minute time period between patients to avoid close contact with other patients.

  • All linen has been removed from treatment tables and the tables are cleaned and disinfected between each patient.  You are welcome to bring your own towel to put on the table if you wish.

  • Patients should also wait in their cars and call to let us know they have arrived. We will then let them know when they can come in.

We ask that patients reconsider your need for urgent treatment at the present moment and seek medical advice if

  • you have recently returned from overseas

  • you are feeling unwell and experiencing flu live symptoms

  • you have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.

We would like to thank all our valued and loyal patients for their understanding during this difficult time.
