Blueberry Gummies

Did you know that gelatine is not just for making cakes and jelly?

This simple substance is used as a food, as medicine for joint aches and pains, healing an inflamed, damaged or 'leaky' gut and improving the health of our hair, skin and nails.


2/3 cup lemon juice

1 cup blueberries

4 tbsp unflavoured gelatin


Place lemon juice and blueberries into a heavy saucepan and heat over medium heat.

Stir blueberries and allow to cook until the liquid is steaming, and the blueberries are plump.

Place lemon juice and blueberries into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.

Remove the lid and allow the mixture to cool slightly.

Add 4 tablespoons of gelatine to the blender and blend again until smooth.

Pour mixture into candy moulds or a 9x9 glass dish.

Refrigerate for 30 minutes to an hour.​
